During the summer of 2012, we curated, produced, managed and art directed a six week project called Journey to Greatness; a t-shirt collection created by 16 graduates from London’s University of the Arts. Working closely with the University of the Arts, as well as renowned artist Dave White who acted as a mentor for the students, we took the four groups of graduates on a journey of uniquely curated experiences to inform their design. These included talks, workshops and training sessions with world-famous athletes hosted at a range of relevant London venues from the Roundhouse to Repton Boxing Club in east London. To pull the collection together we designed the visual identity, packaging, retail installations and all media content – created by filmmaker Andrew Telling and photographer Ryan Hopkinson. The set of shirts were released in July 2012, including a specially commissioned t-shirt by mentor Dave White.
‘Collaborating with INT Works was a unique opportunity for University of the Arts London. With individuals from across our four institutions INT Works drew on the expertise from a diverse range of our art and design grads. The project was brilliantly conceived, brilliantly executed and delivered brilliant results. This unique approach to creative project design and management ensured that UAL's grads shined on their own personal journeys to greatness.’
